Tuesday is my day to look at my social and emotional self and make an effort to shift my perspectives around how I view and treat the people in my life.
Agenda:
1. Ongo journal2. Synergy and hope plans

I'm going back through this book by Catherine Madden and Jesse Weiss Chu (2022), focussing on the solo practices. , which has 5 characteristics: It is timely, true, beneficial, compassionate, and creates connections.
I'm on week 10, and Day 5 is Right Speech
Practice: Set an intention to speak whenever it's of service. Say something like, "I intend to let go of my judgements and calculations, and speak only when I feel it will be of service to Love and Truth, and when it is spirit-led."
Practice this intention by:
- Holding my tongue and being present to the Needs I sense in myself and others;
- Consider what words would serve this need;
- Ask myself- are these words tangible, specific, and framed as a positive invitation?
- If yes, then speak them.
- Let go of judgement about how my words are received and just continue to follow the new Needs I sense.
2. Synergy and hope plans:
Every Tuesday I make a plan for teamwork and synergy, important components for effective action. Specifically, I make a list of tiny ways to engage my family and community in my Nature-Culture work. My ideas:
- Walks with grandsons trick up plastic and name spring flowers.
- Discuss composting with W and update my practice.
- Plan an Earth Week contemplative / action practice to share
- Plant sunflowers!
- Send out my thoughts on next steps to EC team.
- Make a Peace with Earth sign.
