Friday

Friday is my day for creative thinking and doing; as Grandma Earth Teacher I am led to make things that are a gift to the Earth in some way, sustainable, and with a message. Also, I need to prepare for the next week of after-school time: A calm flow with some repeatable fun learning and ongoing fall projects.

We are in the Waxing Gibbous moon phase, when I can settle again into the yin of Beingness. I will contemplate the big picture of my life as I practice mindfulness and self-care. Now is a time to reconsider my intentions and make adjustments. It's a time to review and refine, a time to practice Being, and trust in the ebb and flow of the universe.

Agenda:
1. Refine my intentions
2. Family teamwork
3. Projects for the week
4. Preparedness

1. Refine my intentions:
In the Waxing Gibbous moon phase, I pause to reconsider my intentions, my patterns and approaches, and make adjustments. I wrote three intentions this month, and something is working, because I've been on fire:

  1. Practice a simpler daily flow, settle into intentional time, live with immediacy, intuition, flexibility - and love life as it is: This intention is working well for me - I've been using a flow app mornings and afternoons, and getting much more done with less stress.
  2. Create synergy with my teams in our efforts towards Right Action, by communicating my vision, seeking unity, embracing teamwork, and working tirelessly towards a better end: I've set up two times to consider this each week - one for committees and one for family.
  3. Develop new renewal rituals and holistic habits, and a flow that helps me to engage all of myself with an inner synergy that energizes me with super power: This one needs some thought- What are the holistic habits I want to work on? -I need to find a way to duplicate some of the Noom app features - calorie counting and exercise logging, in a cheaper format.
2. Family teamwork:
Once a week I consider how to develop trust relationships, create synergy, and embrace teamwork with my family. Today I will design a plan for how to communicate my vision for kid projects and chore expectations, what to delegate, and how to upgrade our communication skills.
  • Study and share more stories with Wade about PDF
  • Set sacred time for drawing, and draw with Aldo; Make a drawing challenge booklet with samples.
  • Bring binoculars every Tuesday and a bird book - take time to look for names of birds and write them down.
  • Talk about Halloween pocket expectations - no toys until Saturday.
  • Make visual chore list or cards for Aldo.
  • Set a date to have lunch with Carrie.
3. Projects for the week:

The projects I see as priorities now are:
  1. For my substack: Better photos and watercolor illustrations
